Gameplay
Goose Got Gun is a top-down shooter where you control a goose caught in a fight with a rival gang of ducks. Your objective is to survive for two minutes, defeating as many enemies as possible with a gun of your choosing. Each duck you defeat awards you with points - after obtaining a certain amount of points, a boss duck will spawn, who awards even more points upon their defeat. After either surviving the time limit or losing all your health, the game ends and your final score is shown. Try to get the highest score you can on every level!
Guns
- Handgun: The most basic gun. Click to shoot!
- Shotgun: Fires 4 bullets in a fan shape. Very effective at close range, but not so much at longer ranges.
- Assault Rifle: Hold the button to shoot continuously.
- Revolver: The strongest gun in terms of damage, but has a long cooldown.
Ducks
- Mallards: The most basic enemy type. Have average speed, strength and health.
- Mandarin ducks: Similar stats to mallards, but have the ability to shoot projectiles towards you. If you're too close to them, they'll run away and won't shoot you!
- Muscovy ducks: Slow, but strong. Also have more have than other regular enemies.
- Ducklings: Very fast, but weak and don't have a lot of health. Even a stray bullet or two can take them out.
- Armored mallards: The boss ducks. Much larger than regular ducks, and have significantly more health and attack power.
Levels
- Lake: The most basic level, with just a few enemy spawners. Learn the basic controls and gameplay mechanics here!
- Waterfall: A more advanced level with more enemies and bosses. The waterfalls on the left and in the middle can either help you achieve a swift getaway, or help your enemies get you faster.
- Hell: The most challenging level. There are even more enemies than before, and boss ducks can even spawn like regular enemies. They also say that the devil himself awaits beyond the gates of hell, seeking to challenge the fiercest warrior goosekind has to offer.
